    The night was rather cold while Penna and Wisely waited for Tyki to join them. Penna lit another cigarette that she managed to steal from the hobo. Wisley glanced at her in slight distaste, but said nothing. A few more hours passed and so did the rest of Tyki's cigarettes. As she lit the last one the young Noah signaled for her to put it out. She did just in time for Portuguese man to round the corner and plant down next to them. He reached into his back pocket only to notice that his smokes were gone and he sighed in both anger and defeat. "You should stop smoking anyway Tyki, it's not good for you." Wisley tried to comfort, but only had a glare shot at him.
    The three of them soon began to move. "It's a simple target this time," Tyki said with a sigh. "A new exorcist that we need to take the innocence from."
    "Fair enough," Penna responded while walking between the two men.
    "So are we just going to jump in and flounder around hoping something happens, or do we have a plan of attack?" Wisley asked his uncle.
    Tyki turned to his nephew with a rather agitated look on his face. "How about I throw you at them and you crush their head with your fucked up mind powers?"
    Wisley scoffed and turned his head away in anger. "You know you don't have to be an ass." The group went dead silent for a few moments as they continued their stroll towards their target. "Oi, Tyki?"
    The man grunted in response to the break in silence.
    "Why are you being so mean?" Wisley finished.
    The Noah of Pleasure sighed and glared past Penna to his nephew. "What do you think?! I finally get back to see my friends and I have to drag you two along, and on top of all of that no one will let up on the fact that I'm 'in love' with the new broker."
    Penna's feet froze mid-step, and the two Noah stopped with her. "Penna I'm sure he didn't mean it..." the Noah of wisdom was quickly silenced by her finger being pressed over his mouth.
    The broker quickly looked around then jumped onto a verandah railing. She peaked inside and motioned for Tyki and Wisley to follow. She silently slipped in through the glass doors and began to slide her body across the wooden floor. She quickly shimmied under the bed in the room and waited. The two men were sitting outside watching, wondering what she was doing. The door to the room opened silently allowing a familiar red headed exorcist to enter, with a young girl being lead by his arm.
    "Everything is going to be just fine Tereza." Lavi said trying to comfort the sobbing girl. "You'll make plenty of new friends in the order."
    The girl wiped her eyes and looked at him, "But I don't want to. I want to stay here with Safira, and Momma."
    Tyki looked across the balcony at Wisley taking full advantage of his nephew's Noah power, How the hell did she know to come here?
    I have absolutely no clue,
Wisley answered followed by a light shrug. All she's thinking about is your hot ass.

The older Noah glared at him fighting back the urge to reject the air around them. Will you shut up for God's sake! For the last time it's not like that!

Lavi helped the girl into bed and sat next to her. "Listen I know its scary, but we'll be with you all the way. We're here to help." The exorcist turned towards her and extended his pinky finger. "Do you trust us?"
    Tereza looked at his finger and then intertwined his with hers. "Promise I'll be alright?"
    He smiled, "I promise...pinky promise." Lavi then stood and turned towards her. He barely got another word out before hands shot out from under the bed and grappled his ankles, causing him to fall backwards. Though he managed to catch himself before his head hit the floor, he was not prepared to meet eye to eye with the monster under the bed.

~~~~~
    A white haired exorcist stepped into the living room with a tray of tea. "So you understand why we need her now, correct?" He said as he set the cup down in front of her.
    The woman nodded while Lenalee attempted to comfort her. "Believe me Miss Hiza we'll take good care of her. General Allen will make sure she's safe."
    The woman nodded again, "I'm more worried about Safira. She's never been apart from her sister before. I just hope she can take it well."
    The two exorcists nodded. "I understand this is a lot to take in Ma'am, we'll let you rest for now." With that Allen ushered Lenalee out of the room. "Good-night Miss Hiza," Allen managed to say before shutting the door.
    When in their room Allen turned to his comrade. "I don't think I'll ever get used to that title."
    Lenalee chortled and gave her friend a smile, "Allen it's only been a month since you got your position, try to let it sink in a little."
    The exorcist shook his head and glanced over at Bookman, "It doesn't matter if it's been a month or a year, it still feels weird. Not to mention walking around with so much innocence is nerve racking." He sighed and rubbed his shoulder. "Anyway, do you know where Lavi is Bookman?"
    The older man nodded, "He took Tereza to bed. The poor girl was sobbing so hard she could barely stand."
    The young General plopped onto the sofa in their room and undid his new uniform coat. He threw it onto the seat next to him and sighed. "She's never been apart from her twin so this is going to be a big change for both of them. It's almost unfair in a way."
    Bookman nodded, "It's sad but necessary. For as long as war has existed it has torn families apart, and sent children to their deaths. It's wrong but part of history."
    "I supose."
    A loud thud echoed from the room above them, followed by Lavi's scream. The three quickly bolted up the stairs and threw open the door. Lavi was on the floor shivering, staring under the bed. His legs were being held by two pale hands reaching out from the the inky blackness beneath the frame.
    The appendages released the boy's ankles and disappeared back to their origin, only to reemerge from the end under the kickboard dragging a pale figure with it. The figure shot it's head towards the door, and an invisible force threw Allen and Lenalee into the hall, slamming the door shut once again. The two exorcist struggled against the wooden slab once they regained their balance all the while hearing Lavi stammer in terror. Without warning the stammering stopped and was replaced by a nervous laughter.
    "Holy crap Penna," Lavi stammered. "What the hell? How did you even get in here?" The boy's voice began to calm slightly. "It doesn't matter you had us all worried. Are you alright?"
    Penna? The name hit Allen hard. He began slamming his entire body into the door while shouting, "Lavi don't! She could be dangerous!"
    "Come on Allen, she's our friend...Penna?" Lavi's eyes trailed down to her hand. The former exorcist was now straddling his waist by this point looking at him with a rather dead stare. "Penna...are you alright?"
    "Pinky promise?" The words dripped from her mouth like poison.
    "Yeah, what about it?"
    "You shouldn't make promises you can't keep." A sharp pain shot through Lavi's stomach, that forced a wail to leave his lips. "No promises, no promises, no promises..." Penna repeated again and again as she twisted the blade into the exorcist.
    Wisley jumped in tackling the broker to the floor. Tyki rushed in and grabbed the child in the bed quickly tearing the innocence from her wrist. He crushed it with ease, then hoisted the disoriented woman over his shoulder. He looked at the exorcist bleeding on the floor then back at the door which was easily kicked in by Allen. The Noah of Pleasure scooped up his nephew as fast as possible and jumped onto the verandah railing. "Sorry to need to go so soon boy, but it appears my job is done. Sorry our little apprentice made such a mess of your friend." He smirked gesturing towards Lavi, and quickly jumping backwards disappearing into the night.
    After Lavi was bandaged up Allen called Komui. The man answered with a rather chipper voice. "Hello?"
    "Komui, it's Allen."
    "Oh, Allen. How's your first mission as a general going?"
    "That's why I'm calling..." Allen paused unsure how to tell Komui. "We've found Penna."
    "I see." The man's happy voice immediately turned grim. "So what's the word?"
    "Komui...Penna...has switched sides."
Before you complain it's spelled Tereza for a reason. Not Terezi from Homestuck. Now for a cultural lesson. Terezi is actually derived off of the Portugese name Tereza (meaning harvest), no I did not pick the name just for that, no I did not pick the name because I like homestuck, yes I picked the name because she is Portugese and it fit, and yes I researched it extensivly. So if you're going to bash on me because the name is close to a Homestuck character then don't expect to have your comment up for very long.
Yeah this one is not a very happy chapter...now why did Penna freak out so bad? you're going to find out next chapter.
